BorGO Cinema, Raštel 57/59, Gorizia

On Friday, November 22, a course exploring the film culture of Gorizia began at BorGO Cinema in Raštel.

Participants will learn how to bring the stories of Gorizian film culture out of theaters and archives onto the streets of the city, allowing both residents and visitors to experience them. The lectures are also open to the general public.

The course is part of Kinoatelje’s project Our Everyday Cinema, inspired by the book of the same name by Sandro Scandola. The project is funded through the PNRR Borghi initiative for the urban and cultural revitalization of historic town centers.

The lectures will be delivered by experts such as Alessandro Quinzi, Sergio Zilli, Rossana Puntin, Majda Bratina, Hans Kitzmüller, Paolo Caneppele, David Cej, Igor Prinčič, Noemi Lakovič, Benedetta Porcelli, Nina Peče Grilc, and Giovanna Tosetto.

The course includes five additional sessions in 2024, held at BorGO Cinema in Gorizia, Raštel 57/59. Lectures will be in Italian and Slovene, with occasional content in English.
